Pure Organic Spirulina Protein Powder
What's the difference between regular and Organic Spirulina Powder? Both spirulinas are full of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Conventionally grown spirulina generally costs less. Which should you choose? The word "organic" refers to the way farmers grow and process agricultural products, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and meat. Organic farming practices are designed to encourage soil and water conservation and reduce pollution. Farmers who grow organic crops don't use conventional methods to fertilize, control weeds. For example, rather than using chemical weed killers, organic farmers may conduct more sophisticated crop rotations and spread mulch or manure to keep weeds away. Certified Organic production means that you have a product that is safe, free from irradiation or any chemical treatments, such as those to reduce the bacterial population in the product, which can be popular with many suppliers. Spirulina, being a natural food, has to have a particular level of harmless and good bacteria (represented by standard / total plate count). When Spirulina Powder is subjected to Irradiation, the standard plate count falls to abnormal levels for a food product (less than 100 CFU / gm).

You pass pills through your urine before they have absorbed into your system

I have purchased the 5 #bag of this Organic Spirulina several times. To my understanding it is farmed in the USA. While I have not seen the scientific analysis on this product, I will say that I est about 3 TBSP of it daily... have no problems with it, and it tasted very good to me!

Organic, non GMO Spiritulina at an affordable price is difficult to find. I love this product; in fact I ordered it again on Cyber Monday because I use this product twice a day or more. Great value for an affordable price.
